Loving life one day at a time these days and it seems to be working out just fine :)
I'm seventeen years old. Finishing up school, and moving on.
I once used to think I would live in the same city I've always lived in for the rest of my life, but decided that there are more things I want to get out of life, more places I want to see, and new things I want to experience.
I'm an Aunty to six beautiful kids - four boys, and two girls.. I love them with all my heart.
I believe I was born to be a fighter, and to nurture. I love kids, and can't wait to have my own when I am older and completely ready to love and support them as best as I can. I feel like there is nothing more beautiful than the innocence of a young child.. everything is so new to them.
I've recovered from drug and alcohol dependency, as well as a handful of other things. In all of those hurdles I have learned something and it's made me who I am today. I would never want to take any of it back.
I'm in love with a very funny and amazingly charming man. We've been together since May 9th, 2008. We come from the same kind of background and understand each other to no end. The love we have for each other is something I never want to forget.
I started this journal back in 2005 because a teacher told me about it and I had some little schoolgirl crush on him so of course I wanted to look cool. If you read through it, you will see all the ups, downs, and turn a rounds in the past years; this is why today, 4 years later I have still kept this journal. I want to be able to have something I can look back on, something to laugh and smile about and who knows.. maybe even cry at?
I don't update in my journal near as much as I would like to, but it is what it is and I do really enjoy it when I get the chance!
